At the bottom of the valley, in what was once a town, something truly wretched has come to pass. Volcanic ash and the fog of war merge together, completely indiscernible, and what little breathable air remains is nauseatingly sulfurous.
Not a building is left standing, save for a few dilapidated structures that simply haven't burned to the ground yet.
The only remaining sign of life: a warrior, with an imposing frame, covered in black armor, accented with glowing amber shapes and lines.
As to what her role in this may be? Ah.. if only corpses could speak!
All that is certain for now is the extreme unlikelihood of any survivors, neither the people who lived here, nor the bandits and their monsters who came here to wreak havoc.

OBLIGATION CITY, at least I'm back to making stuff, right?
I wrote more to this song, which would have possibly pushed the story forward a little bit, but due to time constraints I had to cut it short. I feel like I want to (MAYBE) make some changes in the songs from the Mallory story and put it out as a concept album/soundtrack kinda deal, so maybe this one will get the same treatment.
Next week is gonna be a huge challenge to get anything valuable done in time since I have someone coming out to mix their album in my "studio" *cough* bedroom in my parent's house where all my stuff is *cough* but I still want to keep myself on this!

By the way, I did not forget about Mariya from last week. Hrm...

OKAY GOTTA RUN, wish I could use the next three hours to really take this one to the next level but alas!!
