Slowness

The flu tried to knock me down this week, but I’m on the mend and ready to leave it behind as the Australian days grow colder and waking up is getting harder. Despite feeling under the weather this week, I couldn’t let it stop me from submitting. So, I mustered the strength to rise from my bed and ensure my track was submitted on time.
The result is a track with a slower tempo than I usually go for, mirroring the sluggishness that comes with the flu or being sick. It’s a reflection of those moments when your spirit is willing, but your energy reserves are low. I hope this tune resonates with anyone who’s had to push through when all they wanted was to rest.
