life has been a series of interruptions, and missing two weeks (and then cramming in something in the literal 11th hour last week) was kind of the worst part of that for me- but i think i'm back on track.
i managed to get a few little sessions in this week, and worked pretty hard on getting the mix decent (9 tracks, and i think they all come through pretty well as clear parts of the whole) and while it was one of my plodding jam bits, i tried to merge in what i've been doing with my more structured pieces and think more in terms of measures and movements as i played. i was also influenced by some off the cuff tutelage from a new local music friend, regarding treating my voice more as an instrument.
overall, it's weird and experimental but i think i'm proud of this one

I'm really digging the layers on this. Yes, the beat is a deliberate industrial kind of plod, but its relentlessness works really well! There's a dystopian-soundtrack-over-a-bullhorn quality that I definitely appreciate. Very cool!
