"look ma no beat"

i almost always start with a beat or drumline, occasionally i work out a riff or melody first and then build a beat and go from there. this time, i kept thinking i was going to add at least supplemental percussion (*BOOM* *BOOM* *CLAP*) once i got just one more bit done, but it ended up just being finished without a single beat of percussion in any flavor (no click track used either, for the record..)

this probably sits pretty far towards the "Experimental" end of the spectrum but it was fun and interesting, albeit not at all what my goal was (more controlled, almost cinematic movement within a weird rock song- gonna keep working towards that but this aint it)
