Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

I'm pursuing my quest to learn the basics of programming drums. I'm also a bit short on sleep for various reasons. This sweet little track is a mix of both; I wrote it fairly quickly and I'm quite happy with the results. In particular, I'm learning to use the closed hi-hat more than before, and I'm starting to introduce basic drum fills in between sections. Sweet dreams!

I guess you could play a little with the dynamics of these drums, playing with the volumes a bit. I really like this lead, it's very nice. I bet you can layer it with something with a little more decay.
