Gordian Knot

That feeling when confronted with a thorny problem. I've had a lot of fun with this track! Entirely done in M8. The main background, err, pad(?) is one of the new wavsynth wavetables with LFOs up the wazoo, and the bells and wood-ish lead are FM synths. The drums are standard M8 samples.

Fantastic tags, very descriptive of the tune, hahahahaha... Well, except for the "noob" one, get that one out of there!

This sounded weird, scary and fun! Happy to listen to your exploration of the weirder corners of the M8. Cheers!!!

😍😍😍😍 thank you! (but in an ominous way of course)

Liked the beginning build, but then that kick started and it was like instant head bobbing. That reedy lead at :37 or so took it to the next level. Great atmosphere!

Also, that surge of volume at 1:01 jolted me upright big_smile

Oh yeah, definitely captures that feeling. Nice work!

I really love the brassy quality to that lead voice, very cool sound design.
