I'm sorry, I've considered not uploading it, because I don't think it passes as a valid submission of being a"composition that is complete and not just a snippet or a work in progress." but decided that it's better to fail gloriously.

UPD: What a cruel irony. So after failing to meet the deadline, I've decided that I'll still finish the project and just put on a youtube and embed in here into submission.
And I finished it 20 minutes ago, was thinking of maybe putting some vocals. Aaaaaand my Reaper crashed and brought down with itself 10 hours of work. Still have wav files from guitar recordings but it's a mess of multiple with multiple takes, losing midi for drums was the last straw, even if I'll try to assemble the whole puzzle back it's not gonna be today. Obviously I'm an idiot myself for not hitting ctrl+S even once! For some reason I thought  it has autosave, cuz it crashed before and I didn't lose anything back then. (probably because I was actually hitting save, duh). But the timing is perfect. Feels like running a marathon, breaking your leg in the process, crawling to the finish line just to get hit in the balls just a meter before finish line. It's funny even. Welp, screw it, it's time to get some sleep.

that sounds pretty cool, I would love to listen to the longer version

I'd say it still passes - you did music this week. Especially with extra effort after the deadline. Don't be so hard on yourself, you did great, next week will be better big_smile

Ugh, nightmare scenario! This snippet sounds amazing, so hopefully you can restore/recreate the session - though losing that much work is devastating and does tend to sour one on the recovery process...
