I picked up some samples from some older CDs and other sources, so I tried gto build up some patterns using the Tracker's Wavetable sample synth. Unfortunatly, I wasn't crazy about the results, so I dropped them from the final track.
Instead, after exporting the stems over to Reason, I used Reason's Monotone Bass Synth to create a bassline and the PX7 synth to create a lead line, along with a Dual Arp player utility.
I also experimented with output busses on the mixer, using it to glue an additional Kick I added with the Basimilus Iteritas (with a four on the floor feel). I also did this with the droning vocal element.
After adding some additional effects, I EQd and mixed the track before exporting the final mix.
