Venter Homogenizer

For this week's track, I started by recording in some random notes into Audacity to both stretch in Paulstretch, but also to use in Reason's granular synth.

After creating the stretch track's, I placed them in Reason and created some automation for the volume as well as a bus track to glue them together.

I created an initalized patch in Grain, and the imported my initial recording. After finding a part to use, I used the patch matrix to create unique modulations that fed into the synth's internal effects and finalized the sound.

I then used a MIDI controller to live record some notes; playing along to the droning stretch tracks.

After EQing and adding effects, I mixed and mastered the final track.

its a really nice mix, love me some stretched out space

Reminds me somewhat of Interstellar. I like how it resolves to peace at the end, since most of the track is dissonant enough to raise anxiety.
