Time Transfer

I saw the news that the magazine "Computer Music" had ceased publication. I was saddened by the news, as I loved purchasing the magazine and getting the sample packs. While they have been digital access the last couple of years, I remember I still had the CDs and DVDs that were originally packed in with the magazine.

So, using a program that I first remember reading about in CM (along with a regular tutorial feature they had in the magazine for several years), I pulled some of the earliest discs I could find and used those samples in this week's track.

I built out several instruments from bass and pads to arpeggiated synths and drums and built out a fakebit/chip style track.

I think I'm going to keep going back and exploring these discs and seeing what I can pull out from them.

Thanks for the listen! It was a fun trip to look back at these CDs and DVDs that I want to continue.
