The Woods

I decided to combine two approaches I’ve been working on the past few months.  I started by using Reason to create an audio file of two synths performing a set of chords. Using the file, I created two stretch files, one dropped an octave and second with octave mixer set -2 and -1, in Paulstretch.

I then went back into Reason, starting with a set of drums in Kong. The Individual drum elements were sent to separate mix channels. All of the drum tracks were sequenced by different Euclids. The snare channel uses a Decimort in the effects send. The percussion track uses an Etch Red in the effects send, with CV control of Euclid pattern from Pulsar LFO and A/B Switch.

After adding stretch tracks, I added a simple baseline. I used a Thor with The Echo and Etch Red in the effects send and sequenced by a Euclid.

After live mixing with two RV7000 mk2s and a LeSpace as insert effects, I EQd the tracks. For the master effects, I used Peff’s Hexpressor Combinator.

This works so well.
And isn't Paulstretch fantastic?  Been using it a fair bit myself this recently.

Exciting work!

Thanks everyone!

mysterioso, I've been especially interested in the "Processing" section.  I like the effects that you can add before you export the file.
