The Train

For this weeks track, I found an an old Sample CD from Future Music, dated around 2003. I took some of the sample lines I found on there and stretched them with PaulStretch, using the same time factor for each sample. I then effected each sample with Paulstretch’s native effects. I ended up with 5 tracks in total.
I took the tracks into Reason and used an individual Audiomatic in each track’s Insert FX, varying the settings for each track. I also used a Synchronous, a RV7000 mk2 and a Reverb Combinator in the Mixer’s Send FX. I made adjustments to each track’s EQ and automated the volume fader with a Launch Control XL.
I finalized the track with Audacity.
