This week's track ended up being a "less is more" sort of track.

I had originally built out several motifs in Sundog Studio and exported the MIDI track into Reason. However, after building out the instruments, I wasn't satisfied with the results. So I went down to the Chord element and built a couple of tracks using arpegiators to build out different motifs and a bassline (which was doubled).

After adding effects and EQing, I mixed and mastered the track.

Nicely done! A very drifty warm-spring-day kind of vibe here!

Are you modulating the filter cutoff on the bass part? On my little bookshelf speakers, it seemed as though the filter cutoff was low at first, but gradually increased. (If so, it's a neat effect! If not, I've convinced myself that I was hearing a change there.)

I think there was some velocity modulation, which may have effected the filter in one of the bass synth (I summed two different bass synth to one channel, panning the two slightly off center).

Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate it!
