I am continuing my experiments with early electronic/Industrial from last week.

I again used my Drone Lab 2 running into an EHX Hot Tubes, a Behringer Space Chorus C and an EHX Cathedral.  This time, I ran a MFOS Weird Sound Generator into the fifth voice input.  This ran dry into the Drone Lab input.

The base elements are my variation on the idea of "Tape Loops". Instead of tape, I used a Digitech JamMan Solo.  I recorded a loop I made using Korg's M01D on my 3DS at a very radpid tempo (as high as I could get the unit). I then dropped the tempo as low as I could manage and ran the pedal through a Danelectro Fish and Chips EQ, an EHX Memory Boy Deluxe and a MR Black Supermoon Chrome.

During the recording, I altered the filter knobs on the Drone Lab, as well as the Pre-Delay on the Cathedral.  I produced some interesting sounds.  I also tried cutting different frequencies on the Fish and Chips to alter the JamMan's loop.

I mixed the track using Audacity.

The track has a very dark, ambient feel. With a few Industrial type overtones.

This is awesome. First time I've heard of drone lab but just looked into it (off the back of this track) and I want one. big_smile
