I was watching some videos from the YouTube channel BluewaterVST ( Check them out ), and I decided to break out Reaktor and record some loops to process in Reason. I used the Newscool and Massive (Groovebox, not the synth) ensembles.  After recording the loops, I took the loops into Reason for more processing.

For the Massive Loop, I ran it through a Decimort2 and a Synchronous. For the Newscool Loop, I used an Elements: Splitter and an EtchRed.

I added additional elements in Reason, using internally sequenced Instruments and Combinators. The first was a Thor into a BeatCrush. The second was a sequenced combinator into a Synchronous.

I mixed the track live, controlling the faders and mutes. I then Eq’d the tracks. I used a LeSpace as a master mixer Insert FX, to add a little movement.

For the Master FX, I used two Audiomatics into Peff’s Hexpressor Master Suite.
