Safe Theory

I switched over to Renoise this week to create some percussion elements to start this week's track.

I then exported the stems of the patterns and imported them into Reason. In Reason, I created a bassline, using the Europa synth and the Bassline Generator player. I then created a lead line using a Combinator instrument with the Quad Note Generator and Dual Arpeggio Players. I finally added a textural/droning element with the Grain Instrument.

I added effects, along with Mix busses for the Kicks and Snares (I doubled up and layered these elements). I then EQd and mastered the piece after creating the arrangement.

Thanks! I appreciate your feedback!

Well done!

I've sampled this track under the CC Attribution Noncommercial Share Alike (BY-NC-SA) license for my upcoming track “α - β - γ - δ - ε - ζ - η - θ - ι - κ - λ - μ - ν - ξ - ο - π - ρ - σ - ρ - π - ο - ξ - ν - μ - λ - κ - ι - θ - η - ζ - ε - δ - γ - β - α”.

If I am to re-sample “α - β - γ - δ - ε - ζ - η - θ - ι - κ - λ - μ - ν - ξ - ο - π - ρ - σ - ρ - π - ο - ξ - ν - μ - λ - κ - ι - θ - η - ζ - ε - δ - γ - β - α” again for future work, I will just put the attribution in the new track, as not to spam the comment field of this track with more than one comment, that is; unless you request me to also put it here again.

Sampled again for the 5th (and, most likely, final) time for next week track “phase 1”, concluding Q1.

This week's “alpha ⋰ omega ⋱ alpha” is a more compact iteration.

Thanks for your inspiring sound!
