Meridian Dreams

I am continuing my work with combining my stretching techniques with Berlin School sequencing.

I started with a MIDI chord sequence that I tweaked, then stretched in Reason. I dupicated the sequence to add an additional pad track at a lower octave. I then combined these into their own output bus for mixing.

For my sequences, I took the same sequence and found different synths(one with arpeggio, the other I added a Quad Note generator and a Pulsar to modulate the parameters) and built the arrangement using volume automation.

Finally, I built a bass sequence by using a Baseline Generator and a Monotone synth.

After adding delays and other effects to the Insert Effects on the channels, I added Mixer Effects (Two Reverbs) and set up the other Automations.

I finally EQ'd and mastered the track.

really like the mysterious turn of the second movement!

Awesome Berlin sequencing. Cool to read about the process too, inspiring stuff!

Thanks everyone for the listen! Always appreciated!
