Demagnetized Highway

I’ve been listening to a lot of Vaporwave and Synthwave recently, so I decided to make a track in Reason with an older feel to it.
I started with a drum loop, using a Dr. OctoRex with CV Control using a Pulsar. For the bass line, I created a custom Combinator with a FM4 and a Thor.
I added a stabbing strings element with a FM4 into an Audiomatic. I added the final melodic component, a vocoder Combinator into a pair of Audiomatics. I finished the track with a pair of sampled audio pieces that were altered using a Neptune.
On the mixing side, I used x RV7000 Mk2s as mixer inserts for various elements. I then mixed and EQd the tracks.
For the final FX, I used a MClass Stereo Imager, a Decimort, a Comp-01 and finally a CrapRE 2.
I normalized the audio in Audacity after exporting it out from Reason.
