turn of the millenium (KORG Gadget WIP)

KORG Gadget had a major update (per-track EQ, user interface improvements) so i thought this would be a good time to dive back into that app!  i don't know why but this started off real demostyley so i went full early 2000's PC demo advent-of-softsynth a e s t h e t i c

i went pretty heavy on the number of machine modules this time, like around 11 or so.  4 of them are for rhythm! (one of them used the semi-modular synth module for a lot of the rhythmic textures).  i probably halved my iPad's shelf life with this one - using all these modules ate up battery like a beast.  without charging, this tune would have depleted all of the charge in about 2 hours!!

i have some more stuff in mind for this tune arrangement-wise, but alas i just don't have enough time this week between work and other projects.  i'll probably end up fleshing it out a bit more to soundcloud or something.

Pretty impressive!

On a peripheral note: when did "say it with GIFs" replace written comments?

Eccelent gif choice! Love me some classic Run Wrake animation. Goes well with this track!

the gadgets appear to rock, sir

DOPE  I love this demoscene stuff.  I can't exactly put my finger on what makes it demostyley, but it really is.  What is the secret sauce?????

Wow. Each time I listen to this I discover something new!
