respite

well here's something different! me noodling around aimlessly on a guitar - a Larrivée D-02 acoustic Dreadnought Spruce/Mahogany that i bought for $1,000 about 4 years ago. I was actually searching for something in the $700 price range, but when i happened across this rarer model i found it to have the best tone by far, an extremely rich, shimmering quality -- in fact even better-sounding in my opinion than the $2,000+ guitars i had also checked out. i had to bite the bullet and splurge for this one, lest i regret passing the opportunity forevermore.
i've been meaning this year to get around to seeing if i could hobble together a decent-sounding setup for recording guitar that sounds like it could approach the quality of the recordings of many of the guitarists i enjoy. disclaimer: i really am quite novice, i mainly only use my guitar for playing rhythm stuff and i've been too lazy to learn / get good at scales. anybody who has experience in this area: your feedback and tips for improving the sonic quality in postproduction would be really appreciated!
recorded using an audio-technica AT2020 condenser mic that i have. slapped a bit of stereo spreading and a healthy dollop of reverb.
