Ruining 1

Enjoying ruining my voice. Lyrics by one Nathan Kenna.
Recorded on my trusty Zoom H2.
Interesting to finally hear what I sound like when I 'sing' like this. And think I very much need to tidy up that breathiness or I might do myself some serious damage.

Brokenmusic.
Over 2 decades of playing guitar and I desperately needed to smash it to pieces, to start again. To play like a child, to rediscover sound and my instruments.
A most vulnerable process this, now to expose it to the elements.
Curious to see what happens when the light touches it, when I breathe on it, when you look at it. Does it oxidise? What does that sound like?

scary, lol. but cool, shred that voice! sort of reminded me of some a capella jucifer

Once a long time ago I listened to a Diamanda Galas album in a very large apartment late at night and got scared shitless. This had a similar effect! Sounds bloody painful. I am impressed.

Arggggggg. Scarey. Like the moon's speech from Lorca's play "Blood Wedding". It would be rad in this style.

Thanks people smile Been quite an eye(ear)-opener recording this. Am a little embarrassed at my poor (particularly damaging)technique. I don't consider myself a vocalist but I do want to improve my extreme vocals for times when they might be required. I never knew how breathy I was til making this recording because when you scream like that in a small room full of 5 quad-boxes and a drum-kit you don't hear very much! Any suggestions would be gratefully received!
