Song for Joy #23

By brian botkiller on June 10, 2018 5:53 am

Hoo boy, I love this one. I started playing with Arturia Analog Lab, which I've had for a long time and never used. I have been foolish in not using it. It's Ah-mazing. Fun retro vibe on this one. Really loving this track.

I love that noisey stab sound.  Analog Lab looks really cool!  Are you using it with MIDI keyboards or something?

Wow:

"(ARP 2600 V, B-3 V, CS-80 V, Farfisa V, Jup-8 V, Matrix-12 V, Mini V, Modular V, Prophet V, Prophet VS, SEM V, Solina V, Stage-73 V, Synclavier V, Piano V2, Vox Continental V, Wurli V, Buchla Easel V, Clavinet V, DX7 V and CMI V)"

I'm only using the lite version, and it's brilliant. Everything was played with either my M-audio Axiom 61 or my Ableton Push 2, the whole thing is great. I am definitely getting the full kit.

I like those sharp synth hits. Cool kick and snare sounds. Definitely an 80s vibe. I may have to check out Analog Lab.

I did a quick search for Analog Lab for a reference and this is what came up, which is awesome. LOL.

Looks like some thing for stirring test tubes.  But it has three knobs and I believe you could play it!
