This week i’m continuing to explore the old Nord Lead Rack 1. It provides most of the sounds, but in addition there is now also Mutable Instruments Shruthi1 the 4-pole multimode filter version.
Shruthi1 is not very hands on device as it has only 4 knobs. I also have a Midihub, modular midi device that i have mot used much. Midihub allows to create all kind of midi utilities, re-mappings and midi effects. So i used it to re-map all controls from Nord Rack to control Shruthi1 and it’s like whole new device now!
This weeks music style is 128bpm housey type of beat. Apart from kick and crash all drum sounds/loops are AI generated by using my own trained AI models. Both of the snares/claps sound like stacked/layered sounds, but they are single generated sounds. I find it interesting when AI generates stacked sounds as it has now idea what it is doing.
