Cascada Nativa

This week was extremely challenging. I got off to a great start on Monday and Tuesday but got stuck in trying to form the arrangement and be content with what I was making. I ended up pulling it together on Friday to finish the arrangement. Saturday involved finishing the production and then mixing it. I mastered it just now, on Sunday morning.

Weekly beats is training for what this life will be. In some of the past weeks, I had been able to easily separate music and our relationship so that each segment got appropriate time and attention. This week put a lot of stress on my relationship with fiance because I was unable to give what she needed. There will be weeks like this. Pushing through these difficult weeks is training to allow for a life of music and a great relationship. I am grateful to have had this experience and I am happy with the result.

Another nice track starting with a forest atmoshphere. I like the mix, each percussion and melodic line has its own place in the mix, the kick cuts cleanly, the subtle bell like lines in the back add some color and when the beat stops you can hear again the forest atmosphere.
Cool melody from 2:15 and from around 4:00. There is definitely a lot happening there. And then vocal elements later in the song. This is a cool journey.

I was listening to WB while I work and your track really grabbed my attention so I had to come back and comment.  Really just beautiful start to finish. Solid mastering as well. Don't piss off the ones you love, or you'll be writing sad songs for many years to come smile Great strack!
