R. Odent - Lagrangian Funk

By boomlinde on January 10, 2012 6:47 pm

MFB-522, x0xb0x and microKORG sequenced in Renoise ... and an attempt at mastering in jamin. Not sure it got better or worse. Louder nontheless.

I'd use more things, but I ran out of MIDI cables. It's probably better in this state smile

That x0xb0x sounds great.

sounds good to me! what's your mastering chain like? i keep it simple with some multiband comp and a limiter but that's it right now...

great sound! love the bassline

very clean and clear... I usually saturate my microKorg a little bit for extra "pseudo analog" presence

this is super funky.  well done.

Love the Grit & Smooth Combination

very nice.

Nice vibe!

This is excellent smile

Funky. Digging it.

like surfer in 16.bit thats riding a azure blue wave in my eardrums.

Thank you all.

starpause: I think it's equalizer -> 3-band compressor & magic stereo widening DSP for each band -> limiter.

laguna: That's a good idea! I sometimes use a walkman   minitele-cassette adapter to add grit to my recordings, but it usually raises the noise floor a lot (for better or for worse!)

Interesting Track!
It sound like an example I had in a Ableton Live Pack ^^

Ooh, physical cabling   nice sounds   good groove. Winner! This is great. I should probably grab some headphones and give it the respect it deserves...

Love all the sounds in this. Atmospheric keys with a groovy bass.  Good stuff!

Groovy tune.  Nice effort with the hardware.  The tones are good!

love that groove!  smoothness

this is awesome.

Atmospheric as hell, the bass is awesome!
