Tales of the beforetimes: Unification

By bobbyd on March 29, 2026 11:57 pm

The ancient natural philosophers struggled to understand the universe based on their observations.

Epic. Love the continuation of the Tales of the Beforetimes. Lush synths and your voice over the top is just perfect. I want to hear this in an IMAX with images of the cosmos playing in front of me. Great work.

What a lovely comment! I wanted to give myself an easy one this week, but I think I spent about the same amount of time trying to get that feeling into it. I would like to work on this more and make it progress, and maybe the fade needs the swirling winds again, but I do like the super slow fade actually big_smile

I am not even a philosopher and I struggle quite a bit myself!

Sounds like the futur... Like those multiple arpeggios quite a lot! This is a very cool ambiance.

How did you make the vocals, is it yourself, generated vocals, other?

Cool track.

Oh that's lovely, thanks heart

Mr Shepard would like a word.

Very cool atmosphere, feels like I'm discovering the secrets of the universe all at once.

Trippy stuff, all the layers of arpeggios are fantastic, and I love how the timing slows down midtrack till the end. That was done really well.

Holy moly that arpeggio opening is spectacular. This is so cool.

Thanks! Not sure it's a true Shepard Tone, but it's similar!
