Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.

Where do you come up with your names?
I think all the layers that come in are pretty cool. My brain wants it to be faster than it is. My favorite tracks were what comes in at 0:16 and 0:32.

Thanks! Yeah this one is just about ok IMHO, maybe a 6/10 for me overall but I like the first sections and build up a lot more than I like the lead. I'm probably 3 or 4/10 on the lead that comes in, it reminds me of the Chemical Brothers or something but I can't place it.
For the names, I try and find interesting "space ideas" like potential habitable planets, features and areas in space, then I try and do a little worldbuilding.
I've had tracks with the "Hilda Mining Corp" in the past, based on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hilda_asteroid and just thinking about a future where a huge corp would be the first to mine them with huge mining ships (like mining lasers in the original Elite video game) and would probably call themselves Hilda Mining Corp 
Yeah, yeah... yeah! I feel like I hear a little 1980s in here... reminds me of "Axel F" a bit, not sure exactly why. Great track!
