Swig Deal Around the Corner

By bleo on July 22, 2012 7:55 pm

Lt. Frank Sturtz returns for another thrilling encounter in A Laser for Lovers.

After the death-denying events of A Blade for St. Mary's, Sturtz finds himself returning to the old neighborhood, only to see it completely changed by a wave of gang violence that has gripped Argon City in a straitjacket of fear. When Sturtz finds out that Swig, a potent drug 100% more addictive than crack cocaine, has a governmental origin and that an untouchable gang kingpin is on a corporate retainer, his family quickly bears the full brunt of the crime wave. Though Sturtz left behind the war in Asia, its repercussions still play out in America's cities. Without the law on his side, Sturtz has to rely on his only sure assets, his fists and his heart!

Coming to theaters Summer 1983.

I got it on VHS.  Good flick.

I enjoyed the restraint of this track.  Always alluring to more.

I second rdomain's statement

Was waiting for the drum'n'bass to kick in :-P  Cool sounds.

@cTrix: there was no drum n' bass back then... but some big beat-like stuff comes in when Sturtz realizes his younger cousin is addicted to the swig and just got initiated as one of the gang...

Reminds me of the "Mother" series.
