hypnotica

Just fooling around with this VST called Cardinal which is a free version of vcv rack 2 wrapped into a vst. Easily works and interfaces with the DAW and it has plenty of modules. I think virtual modular synths are an interesting concept. Very powerful and basically endless possibilities with all the flexibility that software allows, but replicating the eurorack format look as a gui isn't practical at all.

delicate, glassy, reflective, weightless and... was not expecting those drums! great vibe, feels like driving away to somewhere better.

(I agree about VCV. I tried it for a bit and later I got actual eurorack... and I enjoy it much, much better in the physical format)

Love your sound design and the combination of textural development w/ attention-getting elements that guide the listening. Very three-dimensional sounding

There is so much to like here. Great instrumentation and soundstage. Great great mix. When the drums come in: instant chills. heart

thank you! yeah I have to say I never even tried to compare the differences in sound between vcv and eurorack, the interface and how you play with it make it a whole different experience

Very entertaining in its minimalism.

YAAAAAAA!!!!! I LOVE when you drop the beat so late in the track, as if, at first, they dropped a nice mist, got the lights going, got the beer flowing, and then the master of ceremonies arrives fashionably late to begin the festivities, after the audience has established that they already LOVE being here big_smile
