Destruction Loops - PORTALS*01HLP

By Bleeoop on April 5, 2020 9:56 am

This week is something a bit different. I recorded some destruction loops inspired by the classic techniques of William Basinski and others and made some recordings of briefs musical phrases slowly decaying into noise and nothingness.
Then built a bot that tweets a random one of them every day, just to soothe the soul. you can find the bot here.
Quarloopsbot
The full destruction loop is too long for the weeklybeats limit, if you're really interested in listening to the noise you can check out this visualizer for the track below

I love the subtle deconstruction of these loops over time.

This is a wonderfully subtractive meditation.

I can't tell you how hypnotizingly beautiful this is.  Bravo!  The video is also super cool.  If you have a high quality MP3 of the full version, I would be very interested in downloading it.

Super cool idea and a really soothing/mesmerizing feel to the whole track.  Referred here from Orangedrink's take.  Def inspiring tracks.

magic!

Very beautiful ambience here, like drifting away in an underground river...
