Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Sometimes I record all these tracks and the more I add the more it sucks. So then I render the stems out, throw the project away and start up again with just a couple of the original tracks and it's instantly better

Good result. This track sounds solid and unified. Builds really well. So much subtly moving in the background provides a lot of depth. My workflow under good circumstances is to spend first part of a composition heaping everything on, and the second half removing and lowering volumes. Nice work!
Great piece and really good for you for having the work ethic and the courage to start over rather than quit.
Those kind of "reverb congas" (or whatever they are) are mesmerizing, really.
I think it pays when you dare to throw away hours of work and take another direction. The piece is really solid, as usual.
