Ohriah and The Evergreen

And now for something completely different!

I decided to try and make the most 80's fantasy track I could muster. Real last ditch gathering of courage before the hero fights the bad guy type shit. Its cheesy, simple, and I had a great time making it.

and yeah, maybe I watched the Neverending Story too much growing up.

This definitely hits the mark on what you were going for. That was exactly what I pictured the first time I heard this. I like the brief moment of spaciousness in the center of the track between the main melodic hooks. Happy to see you experimenting with new directions smile

1 - Nailed it.
2 - You cannot watch the Neverending Story too much.

At first I thought you were going for a dungeon synth sound but as everything opened up I gotta say you really pulled off the sound.  I kinda loved it.  Also, the Gmork is indeed one of the best

I wrote that wrong, I meant to say:

At first I thought you were going for a dungeon synth sound but as everything opened up I gotta say you really pulled off the musical style of the time and place of those 80's film.

I love The Neverending Story. I still listen to the sound track from time to time. I really like this! The synths you have going on really capture that 80's spirit. I love that retro synth sound. I hope you do some more tracks with sounds like these!
