A Clean Steel Table

Its noise. A drone if you feel like being nice.

I've attempted to emulate a combination of bandsaws and florescent lights as they'd be heard by cattle, freshly stunned and getting prepared for slaughter. Noisy. Confusing. Dissonant drones for a "fear" feeling. I took an artistic and, lets be real here, edgelord approach to the track by watching slaughter house footage and striking notes and cord changes whenever a chunk of meat was cut free from a carcass. I created the drones and other sounds using a five string bass ran direct into reaper and then layering delay, fuzz, and pitch shifting over a simple arpeggio.

Things get wacky in the desert at 3'am. Silly even.

Legitimately eerie and disturbing given the inspiration of the song. Even the title is a bit chilling. Some damn good drone with a proper avantgarde approach.  Looking forward to whatever kind of horrific soundscape you dream up next.

I dig that you went in trying to evoke such a specific sonic experience, I liked it a lot

Damn, creepy. And totally unexpected! Looking forward to see what you do next!

What desert?

Oh awesome, I love the southwest! I lived in New Mexico for a year or so. Anyways, I like abstraction and texture so this was pretty cool

great concept and well executed
