Just got my Ableton Push 2 in the mail this week and this is my first time making a track w/ Ableton. Before this I was sort of just recording live into Audacity so I'm pretty happy with how less of a headache it was to put this one together. Song's sort of simple, just a drum track, bass track, and synthy chord track. The drums and bass are both just Ableton sounds. The synth is a Roland JU-06 I recently picked up.

Song's called head cold because I made it while home from work w/ a nasty head cold. I was sort of going for a psychedelic vibe on the chords/bass and was planning on adding a funky lead synth solo in there but ran out of time. Maybe I'll revisit this at some point and add some polish.

No not in real time. I did the drum parts first and recorded the chords against them. I chopped up the chord recording into 4 bar chunks and then arranged them for the final recording.
