Made for the M8 Community Jam, doubled up as Weekly Beat.
Started out as an attempt at Minimal Techno, which soon became a mixture of Tricky Disco & Flat Beat šŸ¤¦šŸ»...
Half way through, started to gradually add big reverb on a few notes to add more sense of space for the theme šŸ˜
Challenge... Used field recordings of my granddaughter's sports day... Well it was in a big field full of space šŸ¤·šŸ»
Not a great fan of minimal tech or house tbh but well, I tried...
Felt a bit like grabbing a handful of samples and throwing them at a wall & see what stuck if I'm honest

It is indeed very minimal on the techno. šŸ˜„
Love the field recording in this type of beats, instantly reminds me of one of Daft Punk remix.
Yours is tech house Iā€™d say, something akin to Deadmau5 kind of track.
Really dig the speak & spell sound FX sprinkled here and there, also the synths coming just before the first beat of each 4 bars, gives it plenty of energy.
