I thought I was burned out from music, but the truth is that I'm just exhausted from other aspects of life, and that in turn takes a toll on everything I like doing. For example, I'm starting a part-time job this weekend and it's going to take away a significant chunk of what's left of my free time.

Oh well.

Anyway, I've been meaning to put lyrics on my tracks for quite a while but never got around to doing so. However I remembered that I can just take recordings of people barely singing and autotune them. So I learned how to use Pitcher this week -- it's actually really simple.

Ever watched "DOOR STUCK"? I remembered how the guy "sings" some lyrics in the beginning of that video so I went ahead and grabbed them, then layered them on top of a melody I had written beforehand. They're very difficult to mix in a way that allows you to make out the syllables due to the quality of the recording (ripped from a 2007 gameplay video on YouTube) but well, I personally don't find that to be much of a problem.

I should really try to do this more often from now on.

I had to finish making this track by Friday due to said part-time job and this will most likely be the case for every WB track left, sadly. But I have yet to find out how truly grueling said job is...
