Og Dermed Var Det Ingen -ABYSS-

Genre: EXPERIMENTAL MIXTURE
BPM: 140-210
Time Spent: 8 hours 32 minutes

This song is a remix of Dolphin's Og Dermed Var Det Ingen, and had no other inspiration.
I figured that I should give a shot at moving away from the effortless -core stuff I usually make, so I chose to make a remix of one of my favorite songs. I really, really love this song... it sounds very sad yet forceful to me. I hope did it justice. Also, the project is MASSIVE; there are a bunch of little sounds in it and I added a ton of automated filters to make them fade in and out, which essentially kills my CPU when playing the song back. Realizing this just now kind of makes me want to drag all my samples in a project and rearrange them in order to make a song exclusively out of that. Yes, I should try that in one of the following weeks...

My music is always very "full" generally, and as a result some elements are always hidden so that they don't ruin the song; since drums are more or less static elements (unlike melodies and such) I find that it's best to push them down so that the most interesting stuff is easier to perceive
