Let's go with a remix this week. And because I'm very original, I went ahead and fetched my favorite song from Touhou 14 (0:42 manages to make me shed tears).
As such...
...this is a remix of ZUN's "The Shining Needle Castle Sinking in the Air."
This track is also featured in the free web album "skepticism" by Seppel.

I think I found my home in Frenchcore and Hardtek. They're just extremely flexible genres, and fast music is extremely fun (in fact I can't stand the slowness in a LOT of tracks nowadays... I want things to explode right off the bat, and then I want them to explode harder and harder and harder and harder and
P U S H   T H E   L I M I T S    O F   T H E    F R E Q U E N C Y     S P E C T R U M 。)

I uploaded this on Tuesday morning after working on it for the entirety of Monday. Upload number 1 for week 35, it seems.

I'm very, very happy with this. I'm getting chills from this and there isn't a single part which leaves me disappointed.
There isn't a single part which feels like it's there for the sake of making length.

And I think making this remix taught me about the importance of not only having a strong drive, but also making sure to keep it. Oftentimes I find that my way of making songs is just getting an idea, laying down the biggest idea(s) and then... taking breaks that go from hours to days, which breaks the "flow".
Then when I come back, most of the time that flow is pretty dead and I'm just struggling to finish the song.

...I might change my approach to weeklybeats. I might give up on trying to exploit every day of the week in short bursts and instead dedicate my entire Sundays to making music and spend the week doing other things.

Did you read all of the above? If yes, well, I would like to thank you. Odds are that you are probably one of the few people that bother checking me out every week, and I need to say that your existence as someone who comes back to see what I'm doing every week is part of what's giving me the drive I'm describing in the above paragraphs.

Thank you so much.

This is pretty damn incredible, amazing remix! Everything flows so smoothly and as you said; "There isn't a single part which feels like it's there for the sake of making length." heart

I can tell there are some parts that feel like they pad the runtime, but it flows nice regardless.
