Combobulate

I know I've said this so many times this year, but this was the closest I came to not uploading anything this week. Eye surgery recovery has been slow, and my vision has been fluctuating between clear but watery, and hazy like there's a film of vaseline over everything. I feel like I'm being super boring and complainy, but it really was a difficult, isolating, anxiety inducing week. It sucks feeling like you're unable to do things.

I had decided not to bother stressing myself out with making a track, but then at the 11th hour, I loaded up something I'd been noodling around with, and quickly "fixed" it. As a result, this barely has any arrangement or development at all, it hardly even has a structure. It's basically just a block of thing.

So now even though I'm unhappy with the slow progress of my vision, at least I can be happy that I didn't skip this week's beat.

It is what it is: Fun and bouncy, uplifting even! Best wishes for a fast recovery.

this is a fun beat, when it's just the funky bass and percussion is my favorite part, i could listen to it for quite awhile. such a juicy bass! and the way the percussions click around both left & right sides is really cool.

turned out quite nice! catchy!

Naww, thanks for listening and your kind comments smile

I've been close to not submitting multiple times this year too, like this week actually. Always feels good to get something out! I love this groove and those bouncy synths. Hope your recovery goes well, sounds tough.
