Partly arising from experiments with spectral morphing. And there's a sample in there of a set of bells that belonged to a friend of mine who sadly passed away too young a few years ago.

The crunchy synths remind me of early Clark (back when he was Chris Clark), and I tried several times (unsuccessfully) to capture that sound. You make it seem effortless, and the whole thing moves perfectly. Really good work.

This sounds amazing! I love the evolving synth

Thanks so much for your thoughts, very appreciated, and cheers for the comparison. I didn't start with this sound in mind, but was pleased to discover it and hone in on it as the week went on.

Glad you like it! Thanks so much. I could have kept going with it (and perhaps I will in the future) but I like that WeeklyBeats forces you to stop at a certain point and just submit what you have.

This is really rad- reminds me of my fav skinny puppy and cevin key solo stuff. I always have a soft spot for this vibe!

Thank you kindly. His name was Uwe and he was a good friend.

Appreciate the thoughts, have never gone deep with Amon Tobin but enjoyed what I've heard, cheers for the comparison.
