A Portrait of a Mountain River (Homage to Annea Lockwood)

By Ausgesuchtestenohren on February 16, 2020 4:04 pm

This track is an arrangement of recordings of the Weissenbach, a small tyrolian mountain river, which rises in the Halltal and flows near Absam from Gnadenwald to the south to the village of Mils, Austria, which is located 12 km east of Innsbruck. Weissenbach is one of the tributaries of the river Inn, which progresses into the Danube.
The underwater recordings were made with a hydrophone designed and handmade by Jez riley French.

Those underwater recordings are really something special, kudos. Sounds like good snowfall upstream this year!
