A Slice Of Live

By Ashtom on April 19, 2026 6:40 pm

I have been spending most of my week either working at my job or rehearsing for the live set I performed on Friday. On top of that, the whole weekend (when I usually record my weeklybeat) was plagued with headaches and migraine.

So, as a consequence, here an excerpt of the recording my live set from Friday for the Synth Club at the KuBaA (Zürich Affoltern). I think the response was positive and people seem to have enjoyed it. I was a bit bothered by the monitoring speakers that were probably too loud and that made me worried about the sonic balance, but eventually I think it sounded quite okay.

If you are a familiar with a certain japanese ramen chain, you may recognize one of the sound used in this week recording...

In other notes, I was thrilled with the Nine Inch Noize concert at Coachella and also excited about the coming of what seems to be a new Boards Of Canada album (finally)!

I wish a very nice week!

love the drones! glad you were feeling well enough to perform and share! beautiful, murky, and alluring!

It's a real treat to get to hear your live set.  It sparkles and takes a journey that intrigues.

Thanks! I will let you know once I posted the full recording if you're interested.

Great ambiance again.. i just saw a documentation about the movie"Apocalypse Now" and your sound and the images of the boat on the mekong and this mystic atmosphere, fit well together, in my opinion..
