Xenon

I tried to make a shorter one this week. So this is about 4 mins, which is normally the duration for a proper intro for my stuff smile Some interesting sound ideas I think, but the mix was a bit of a rush job, so here goes. Certain sounds are rather hard and heavy on higher mid range, so it may a bit unpleasant in places.  But I have my daughter´s birthday guests (8 in number, about 7 in years!) arriving anytime soon, so you probably understand my time limits as of now.

If I survive, hopefully something more substantial next week smile

The gear is Moog Slim Phatty, Roland MVS-1 module, Akai Rhythm wolf, Korg O1W/fd and the overdubds with Kawai 100P and Korg Polysix. Ans loads of effects, some cranked to up to 11.

Very appropriate for a birthday bash. I especially like the vocaloid tweaks.

Very nice especially considering it's a bit of a rush job.  I agree the crunchy vocal sounds are very cool.

It's quite a ride as it is.

Thanks guys!!!  The vocal element is actually a preset from Kawai 100P, from 1978 smile  Sounds rather modern, even today. Thanks for your comments, right now I am preparing to play a concert later this evening (a solo set to warm-up a prog band gig (Moonwagon)...I will join them later on stage too. Used to play five years with them, left 2013). Preparing is basically a wrong term now, actually I am going to more or less improvise the whole thing on the fly...But I am hoping to record my next week´s contribution to WB from the set smile We shall see...

I like how the synths all sound like they are singing or vocalizing. Creates a kind of fantasy land of talking creatures. Really nice leads that come in the middle and kind of cascade into other weeping leads.  Very natural sounding but the arrangement is very intricate.
