Same gear setup as two weeks ago, the results a bit similar too. The cutting lead by Microkorg 700S, a lovely sound. This is another one with me on autopilot, basically a multitrack improvisation... too busy now, but hopefully next week I have time for some new ideas. I like the mood of this one, though...

Some really great flute like lead riffs. I like that purring bass sound that emerges and transforms into video game sounds. I actually picked up my bass guitar and played along while listening.  It's that kind of track that's fun to play to. Beautiful!

Yeah the flute sounds are very nice and the whole thing creates a great mood indeed.

Very intense progression with a distinct flute guiding the listener through the whole thing.

Lovely sound indeed, that lead is something else! You have some serious melodic improvisation skills, major props!

Great development. As Gab said, props and chops!

If Mr Miyagi and Daniel San took acid.... this! Great stuff

Thanks! Great sign of success to have someone play along smile Perhaps this one is suitably "open" in its structure, so it is cool to fill the blanks...

Thanks!!! I agree it works like a red thread during the track...The Korg 700 has that very distinct quality in its flutey sounds... the older japanese synthesist Kitaro did cool work with it in his soundtrack for the Silk Road.

Thanks a lot! I am always a little bit ashamed to play leads, but not for the most obvious reason... Actually I enjoy playing them in real time and it is one of the things why I love the immediacy of the older analog gear. But I know I get very easily carried away with them and just keep on doing those musical ornaments, layer after layer. I am sure it makes some of my stuff sound very old-fashioned, but I try to keep it honest smile

Honestly I'm all for ornaments and flourishes, nothing to be ashamed of, if anything I'd say that if you enjoy playing a certain way it's all the better since it shows through in your compo smile
