Weird stuff... This week I decided go to the ambient deep end, even a bit dark ambient/industrial. The instrument here is an old ipad 2, softwares in use are Soundscaper + my own samples, Addictive and Nave. I put them thru hardware effects, but still the sound is a bit harsh... but I think this style does not suffer too much from it. Next week something more melodic, I think.

Definitely a dark vibe on this one.  The harsh sounds work in its favor in creating the mood.  It brings to mind a post-apocalyptic city ruin or something to me.

love the placement of the sounds in the field... also definitely enjoy when the creepy beat comes in...and some of the breathy sounds are reminiscent of LifeForms stuff (again I think we have a shared early FSOL influence)  very cool...and spooky in the best of ways

Funny how a small device like an iPad can contain such a large world. Things take an awesomely strange twist in the middle when the dinosaurs emerge from the primordial waters. The transition in the middle is awesome! Great soundscape.

A Resident Evil Space Odyssey 3003? Awesome soundscapes! Love!

That low bass in the beggining is so sick. That creepy deep sounds (soundscapes) are so complex and it's fit very alright with that smooth beat from the half of the track.Nice job!

Thanks! I tried to make this sound very organic in its structure and I was trying to make a "soundfield painting" so to speak. So this is much more about textures than the actual notes.

Thanks! Ipad is actually the best synth for the price of the software there is! I usually use hardware effects and proper mixer to deepen the ipad sound, though. As a bonus info, that strange "dinosaur sound" just after the middle section is actually the voice of a very well-known (in Finland, mind you smile) TV-presenter... with heavy effects added smile

Thanks!!!  I was steering for strange and weird soundscape, but do not mind at all if it sounds mostly scary smile  Much appreciated.
