Homunculus

A mostly analog piece. A rare excursion in major scale. Roland TR808 and 707, Yamaha CS-30 and CS-15, Korg MS-10, Juno 60, Doepfer A-100, Roland MC202... the only digital stuff is a couple of pads from my trusty Korg O1W/fd and mellotron samples, courtesy of Yamaha A5000. Note that I used C-cassette as a mastering method with this one. The digital recording was mixed digitally, then burned to a CD-R, copied to C-cassette (Technics deck from the 80´s) and then normalized and converted to a mp3 file.

Really nice once the groove kicks in and I'm along for the ride!

What a lovely flute.

those light, blippy percussion elements are great. adds a lot of dimensionality/personality to the piece.
