Track done in M8, limiting in Ableton. Due to a downturn in health, I really feel underwater, so I thought it was a fitting name. And there are some bell-like sounds that represent a glimmer of hope

Thank you, and yes indeed, it is an FM Synth chord of the classic A+B+C+D algo, all SAW, with high Resonance and some movement added in.
Really like the chord stabs and the way the bell synth is being filtered and bended.
Sounds like this could be a character select screen.
The chords make me instantly think of the Wii UI. Like if they were still updating it, this would totally be a config screen somewhere.
I really like how open and light this is.
