Sadness in Madness

It's been a while since I had the energy and the time to put in a significant effort.
I spend at least four hours a day on this track, with days of more than eight, and I hope it shows.
Creation, mixing, and mastering, I honestly feel that this is the best I can do up to this point.
I wanted to create something that heavily relies on percussion and is accompanied by a synth that sounds rather sad. aka, sadness in madness.
Trying to get everything properly in the right location in the stereo field, making sure nothing is too loud or too quiet, has been a struggle, and I kept tweaking it for days.
I've also listened to the track on many audio devices and kept making notes.
I have been steadily improving since starting Weekly Beat 2024, and so far, it has been an amazing learning experience.
I hope to mingle more with the community in the near future. I kept most of my social interaction at bay, and it's getting to me, hehe.
I could ramble on, but I'll leave it at this.
