Dropleton

By As_Yoesual on January 27, 2024 11:00 am

A dropleton or quantum droplet is a quasiparticle comprising a collection of electrons and holes inside a semiconductor. Dropletons give the first known quasiparticle characterization where the quasiparticle behaves like a liquid.

When I started this track, it was rather minimalistic. Stuff happened, and it turned into this.

My personal feelings about it: It lacks "soul" so to speak.

the bass really slaps me around and i like it. the sounds are minimal but really detailed so it holds my attention. really feeling it about two minutes in. really moving by the end. nice track, favorited

Sounds like Berlin at 2AM. 😁

Very nice! I liked the while track. The minimalist opening was interesting enough to key me listening. I really enjoyed it!

Thick kicks pretty hard. Never felt boring, develops very nicely. Gonna share with my daughter who enjoys some atonal techno very much!

The first sounds raise hair on my back, they're so isolated and, I don't know, "pointy". But as soon as the main pumping comes in it becomes pleasantly energetic. Flows really well.

The "pipe" that enters at 3:22 is a highlight to me. Nicely polyrhythmic and the timbre is gorgeous.

*hugs for all of you*

You know, I am 40 years old and never experienced techno in Berlin. I should really change that.

A miniature big bang of sound.

That's cool, what version of Dropleton are you using? Just kidding. Nice sound design, everything sounded pretty unique and interesting so that the minimal/repetitive nature of the track was enjoyable. thamks

I think this has some excellent production and I particularly like the detail on the drums. I do like that moment early on around one minute when the drums pause for a moment so we can focus on the sound palette you're playing around with.

Thanks! I appreciate it, I also send the track to a few people higher up the producer/music branch and most just burned it into the ground, so I am glad there's people who appreciate tracks like this.
