Well, the M8 sure is hogging the limelight for my Weeklybeats efforts so far! And no wonder, as it's so easy to get a song structure in place. This track wasn't coming together at all until Friday, though, and even then I felt like I was in a bit of trouble and still had a lot of work to do. But an hour and a half more with the track on Sunday was sufficient to pull everything into shape and now I like it a lot, particularly from 2 minutes onwards when I think it really hits its stride. The track features a single vocal sample from Loopmasters, some drum hit samples and various internal M8 synths providing the main melody, textures and baseline. It's a builder! I hope you enjoy!
